My brother and I played this game a couple years ago, along with "My rusty submarine" (both local co-op games) so this was a pure dose of nostalgia!

Very fun, but I can't for the life of me figure out why the controls are ESDF instead of WASD.

(Keymap is the default in the engine the game is made in, pico-8, at the time of development there were no way of changing it, that's the reason :)
Had a lot of fun with this game, played it with a bunch of buddies while goofing off after class. Was wondering though, is there any way to escape a guard after being caught?
this warms my old burglar heart, thank you for sharing!
If only one of you get caught, the other one can escape and pay bail to continue, but that's the only way. It's hard for burglars nowadays.
